Forever 7 Entertainment Ltd. is a production company that does high-quality movies and collaborations in Africa, and globally. It was founded in 2019 by Hamisha Daryani Ahuja in Lagos, Nigeria. The company was started with the idea of presenting Africa to the world while interweaving with other cultures. Africa is so rich in culture and diversity and the aim is to bring this to the forefront. The company plans to create content that not only depicts Africa in the beautiful light that it is but also sends impactful messages to the world.

‘Namaste Wahala’ the maiden film of Forever 7 Entertainment launched on Netflix on Valentine’s Day 2021 as a Netflix original with a global release. The movie was the highest viewed African Original and the first Nollywood movie to chart worldwide including the big subscriber markets like the U.K, U.S.A, and India. It also trended in the top ten for over a month in Nigeria. The movie although a Romantic Comedy also touched on important topics such as Women's Empowerment, Cross-Cultural clashes, and Human values.

The company will continue to create inspiring and entertaining content for the global market with a high production value.

Hamisha Daryani Ahuja

Founder & CEO

Hamisha founded the company Forever 7 Entertainment, a production company that deals in film making and content development in both the Nollywood and the Bollywood industries. She is the Executive Producer and Director of her first feature film ‘Namaste Wahala’ released globally by Netflix on February 14th, 2021 as an original film.

Hamisha started her speaking business in 2017. In a short while, she has had the honor of being invited to work with various prestigious organizations such as Coca-Cola, the Young President’s Organization, the Entrepreneurs Network U.K., Miss Nigeria Finalists, and The Big Brother Naija housemates where she coached candidates on live television. She has also spoken on major stages such as WIMBIZ’s Annual Conference, which is the largest women’s gathering in Africa.

She believes the world can be a better and happier place by applying a few simple tools, she trains individuals and companies on this subject. Her flagship course “The Pursuit of Happiness” has impacted thousands of lives to date. She has been trained by the world-renowned Lisa Nichols – one of the world’s most requested speakers and media personalities. She also founded Bistro 7, a chain of restaurants in Lagos in 2012.

She ran the award-winning establishment for seven years. It was successfully acquired in January 2019 by Chocolate City Group. She is now a shareholder of the newly formed company and serves on their board.

Hamisha considers herself to be a citizen of the world. While she has spent most of her life in Nigeria in an Indian household, she has attended Boarding school at the American Community School of Cobham in the U.K. She has a commerce honors degree from McMaster University in Canada, a Post Graduate in Hospitality from Glion in Switzerland, and an acting certificate from the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York. These global experiences have given her a keen insight into the different nuances of various cultures all over the world— insight, which inspired her to create her first feature film, “Namaste Wahala” which brings forth the differences as well as the colorful similarities between Nigerian and Indian culture.
